Antirrhinum Coronette, more commonly known as Snapdragon is an annual that produces a mix of large flowers in a range of vivid colours like white, yellow, orange and red. They can be sown at almost any time of year and can be expected to flower 15-20 weeks from seed but autumn and early spring are the optimal flowering seasons for this particular variety. Ideal for Cottage Gardens, borders, rockeries, pots and beautiful cut flowers Antirrhinum Coronette is best suited to a position in full sun and require well-drained soil that has been enriched with compost or manure prior to planting. Water heavily and regularly for longer displays of beautiful flowers but ensure the soil does not become too wet. Antirrhinum's are very susceptible to rust caused by pathogenic fungi. To limit the risk of your plants being affected by rust avoid over head watering and treat affected plants with fungicide to control the infection. Antirrhinum Coronette grows up to approx. 45cm high and should be planted 25-30cm apart.
